Not Quite Write is an Australian business partnership (ABN: 85 157 104 734) which operates the Not Quite Write Podcast, Prize, and website under the laws of NSW, Australia.
We’re glad you’re here and we want you to know that we value your privacy and will not sell your personal information to third parties.
We may however disclose your personal information to third parties in circumstances where you might reasonably expect us to disclose your information, for example to our IT service providers, our own marketing providers, our professional service advisors, website analytics platforms, and to law enforcement if required. Some of these third parties may be based outside of Australia.
The information we collect
We collect information electronically when you interact with us on our website, email, or social media channels. Information we collect about you may include the following:

When you enter the Not Quite Write Prize for Flash Fiction, you agree to the terms and conditions of that competition. You also agree to your personal information being used for email communications and to facilitate the competition. A “Shout it from the rooftops!” policy applies to the sharing of winner and place-getter names on our podcast, website, social media, and email communications. If you have provided one, we will use your pen name. If you win a cash prize, we will ask you to share additional information with us so we can get your money to you.
We sometimes talk about our listeners on the podcast, for example when they write in or talk to us about topics related to the podcast. When we do this, we may use your name. If you ask us not to use your name, we won’t.
Not Quite Write is a podcast with international reach so communications by the podcast may be expected to reach people anywhere in the world.
Accessing third party sites
Our website contains advertising and links to websites operated by third parties. We make no representations or warranties in relation to the privacy practices of any third party provider or website. Accessing these sites is done at your own risk.
Protecting your information
We will do what is reasonable to keep your personal information safe from misuse. In the event of a breach, we will act to contain the breach and provide clear and open communication with you about our plans to control the breach.
