Not Quite Write Supports Human Artists
When Not Quite Write first began, generative A.I. was just entering the world and it felt like an exciting new toy. As the A.I. landscape has evolved, we’ve come to realise the implications of generative A.I. on artists.
From the very beginning, the Not Quite Write logo and promotional materials were created by Sydney-based graphic designer, Vee Creative.
In 2024, we launched the Not Quite Write Artist-in-Residence program to supplement our existing graphic design. Our 2025 Artist-in-Residence was Camsyn Clair, whose work you will find on our website and social media. Camsyn Clair (they) is a Black, queer writer, artist, and horse-lover who very much believes in magic. Camsyn also longlisted in our January #NotQuiteWritePrize. Talk about multi-talented!
Our 2025 Artist-in-Residence, Nora Tuck, is a Korean-American illustrator based in Georgia, USA, who enjoys bringing stories to life through narrative and character-based artwork. A huge fantasy and mythology lover, she watched the extended edition of The Lord of the Rings one too many times as a kid, so you’ll find no shortage of elves and magic in her pieces.
If you would like to be considered for the next Artist-in-Residence program, join our mailing list and follow us on social media to be the first to know when we launch our next call-out.
