Refund Policy

Merch

All Not Quite Write merchandise is made to order, so we don’t offer refunds if you change your mind. But if you receive an item that’s “not quite right” (faulty or damaged), please email us with the details and we’ll gladly refund the full purchase price and rue the day it was made.

Not Quite Write Prize

The discounted Not Quite Write Prize Annual Pass is non-transferrable and non-refundable. We aim to be as transparent as possible about this upfront, so you can make an informed decision at the time of purchase.

We know that life sometimes gets in the way. So, if you’ve purchased a standard Not Quite Write Prize Entry Ticket or feedback package and you’ve changed your mind about entering, we’ll gladly refund the purchase price (less any applicable PayPal fees). To be eligible for a refund, you must give us 24 hours’ notice via email before the announcement of the prompts. After this time, all ticket sales are considered final, and no refunds will be issued for any reason including change of mind or a failure to submit on time.

If you’ve purchased written feedback but fail to submit on time, you may still send us your story for feedback within the judging window, however it will not be eligible for the prize.

If you’ve purchased on-air feedback (the “Daredevil package”) but fail to submit on time, you may still send us your piece for feedback within the judging window, however it will not be eligible for the prize. If preferred, we’ll gladly rollover your Daredevil package to the next round of the competition (once only).

Please note that personalised feedback is entirely subjective and there’s a risk you won’t like what you read or hear. If this happens to you, you won’t be eligible for a refund or compensation. Instead, we encourage you to perform a ritualistic “cleansing” ceremony during which you curse the judges to bi-weekly stubbed toes for all of eternity. It’s only fair.

To request a refund, or if you have questions or concerns about any of the above, please email us at contact@notquitewrite.com. We’re real humans and we aim to please.
